Since the inception, the Professional Pool Operators of America (PPOA) has assigned and maintained an advisory board with representatives in various areas of expertise throughout our country and our profession. "Maintained" may be interpreted loosely, as many of these positions have been pretty much honorary. We are waiting for the day when we begin communicating and contributing in an organized and productive fashion. That time has come!

The PPOA Advisory Board has, in fact, met on at least three occasions in the past six years at NRPA Aquatic Conferences, at the bar as I recall. Until the day when PPOA can have its own national event, this method of getting together may be all that's available. However, simultaneous communication over the Internet can now facilitate a near-real-time sharing of information so we as an advisory board may very well, after all, become a greater force for improvement in our professional organization, our jobs, and our facilities.

Very open to suggestion and expansion, the current board is comprised of roughly the following positions, with unfilled slots shown as "Open."
